Introducing... The Raven Boys...

These photos are all fan-made, of course. The book series is really, really good. I love the characters, especially the Raven Boys <3 <3 <3 and how the main female character  is a great example of a strong, independent woman. So far, three books are released:

1. The Raven Boys - 5/5
2. The Dream Thieves - 4/5
3. Blue Lily, Lily Blue - 5/5

The Fault In Our Stars

John Green is a genius. I fell in love with his characters and his words in the book. The movie was really awesome. I'm in tears when I read the book. I thought I'm emotionally prepared to watch the movie 'cause I know what'll happen next. But that doesn't work. T_T You can never really prepare yourself to lose someone you love. Even though, you know that it will happen eventually in the future. The truth of it is you still hope and believe that, that person will just be around tomorrow and the day after tomorrow and the days after that. But, we are here on Earth for just a certain amount of time. That time is not up to us to decide. We just got to make the most of it while we still can. Hang in there, my friend, you are loved . :)

Why We Broke Up?

This book is somewhat my kinda love story, where at the end the best friends will end up with each other. The fun part is the girl enumerates all the reasons why they called it quits. In your face! HAHAHAHA*evil laugh

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin

I read this book because I feel like I'm empty 'cause I haven't read a book in like months. My friend recommended this one. And it was really, really, I mean, really nice book. The story's kinda twisted and I like it. And Noah Shaw...*speechless.. such wit and personality. I can't wait to read the sequel. :)

Insurgent by Veronica Roth

Just done reading Insurgent by Veronica Roth. The book was pretty awesome. But for me, the first book is better than this one. I so love Four. How he treats Tris and cares for her <3 I was stunned to know what Caleb did. That was sick. Well, I'm really anticipating the third installment of the series. Can't wait to know what will become of the City and how the new characters will affect the citizens, factions, and the Divergent.

Beautiful Creatures

Sa wakas, nahuman na jud kog basa ug Beautiful Creatures nga dugay ra jud dapat nahuman. The book was really good. I love the main character, Ethan Wate. I kinda find him funny. I like the unpredictable twists and turns in the story. I'm going to continue to read the rest of the Caster Chronicles, if time favors me. It's funny how I haven't seen the movie yet. I kinda want to finish the book first before watching the movie. Now, that I'm done reading, I'll watch the movie. Wish me luck! :)

Paper Towns

Done with Paper Towns by John Green. I just noticed something. It seems that the endings of John Green's books are quite sad, realistic, but sad. This book is funny and full of things, I myself, would like to do. I like how Margo is not afraid to do stuff. I like how she really loves things out of the norm. I like how the way she thinks and analyzes things. I just like her. I'm also fond of Q. I wish something like that would happen to me. Something new and exciting. Out of the norm, maybe life changing. :)

Quotes from the book:

Humans lack good mirrors. It's so hard for anyone to show us how we look, and so hard for us to show anyone how we feel.

On some fundamental level we find it difficult to understand that other people are human beings in the same way that we are. We idealize them as gods or dismiss them as animals.

P.S. Now reading Beautiful Creatures :)

Divergent

We should try not to see those differences because they will only divide us.

Human reason can excuse any evil; that's why it's so important that we don't rely on it.

Haste, will not help.

I believe in ordinary acts of bravery, in the courage that drives one person to stand up for another,

People are flawed and we should be lenient with them.

People do evil things and desperation leads them to darker place than they imagined.

There is power in self-sacrifice.

Gosh!! Can I just say that I really love this book. Everything about it is so interesting and the story's really indulging. I like the main character, Tris, very brave and confident. I like how Four/Tobias took notice of Tris  and fell for her. Kilig mode. It's way better than the Hunger Games Trilogy combined, I'm sorry for being too honest, but seriously. Next up, Insurgent.

Done with Cath Growley's Graffiti Moon. It's a really nice book recommended by friends, Kriah, Krisna.. thanks to them, I got the chance to read a nice story.

Here are lines that really caught my attention:

Nothing about art is a waste of time. It's the time wasting that gets somewhere.

Everyone gets the chance to start again.

Everything is what it is and not some other thing.

Most people don't know what they want till it's right in front of their face.

Done reading another book. Well, it took me quite sometime to finish reading this book. It's Wither by Lauren DeStefano.

Here are quotes from the book:

What was once real and natural has become a fantasy.

You wan't to know about true love? I'll tell you something about true love. There's no science to it. It's natural as the sky. Love is natural.

Achievement! Two Books in two weeks. Every Day by David Levithan and An Abundance of Katherines by John Green. :)

Here are some quotes I got from the books I wanna share:

Every Day by David Levithan

We all want everything to be okay. We don't even wish so much for fantastic or marvelous or outstanding. We will happily settle for okay, because most of the time, okay is enough. - A

Kindness connects to who you are, while niceness connects to how you want to be seen. - A

An Abundance of Katherines by John Green

Everywhere man blames nature and fate, yet his fate is mostly but the echo of his character and passions, his mistakes and weaknesses.            - Democritus

What is the point of being alive if you don't at least try to do something remarkable? How very odd to believe God gave life, and yet think that life asks more of you than watching TV. - Colin Singleton

You can't stop the future from coming. Colin Singleton
