Pueblo Science: RISE 2018

I really enjoyed the experience. It was worth it. The learning experience was really fun and interesting subjects were discussed. The lecturers/teachers are really amazing people. They are masters in their filled of expertise. I mean, literally masters. They already earned their masters degree, despite being super young. They came from prestigious universities, i.e. University of the Philippines, University of Toronto. They are doing the Pueblo Science for a good cause. They volunteered to help advocate in teaching teachers cool, simple, attainable ways in teaching science in the communities. Cool, right? Never a dull moment in the three-day seminar. I had a good time. I've met new friends as well.

This is Boss Dylan. He was my classmate back in MSU. He came with me to attend this seminar. I kinda drag him along, just so I have someone with me. :)

This was my group during the seminar. They were from different schools all over region XI. I really enjoyed their company. :)

These are the amazing teachers. Cool and intelligent people. It was an honor to be with the same room with them. :)

My favorite teacher. :) He's a biochemist. It took me a lot of courage just to say "Can I have picture with you, sir?", hence, this picture.

I'm so happy with this photo. hihihi

P.S. I hope to join next year's Pueblo Science and enjoy myself with their various science experiments. Shoutout to Boss Dylan for coming with me. Thank you, boss. Next year ulit :)

Thoughts on The Agonizing Ending of Infinity War

Before watching the Avengers: Infinity War, I wanted to prepare myself for it, so I decided to watch/re-watch the movies prior to Infinity War. And it was 18 movies!!!! I really tried to ready myself, so I could understand the happenings in the movie that I'll watch (Infinity War).

Okay, to start with, can I just say that I''ve fallen in love again with Captain America. Chris Evans is just perfect for the role. He's the leader and a soldier. Firm in decision making, also rational. I like that about him. Another character I like is Bucky. hihi. Also, can we just talk about how Black Widow's so sexy with her hair blond.

Going back to Infinity War: The movie's ending scenes will blow your mind and heart away with utter shock and sadness. I get Thanos' point in wiping half the humanity to cleanse Earth. I guess, he will try to revive earth with people that he thinks will make the planet a little bit better. But who is he to judge, whether you stay or not, right? It doesn't really makes sense sometimes. Just like how life's not making sense sometimes. So, when he's doing this wiping clean thing, some of the Avengers were included. They just turned to nothing. Just. Like. That. Who wouldn't be sad with that? When some of your beloved heroes, gone without leaving any trace at all.

But, still, I hope for the best. When you're watching a Marvel movie, you have to see it until the end of the credits, for upcoming previews on the next movies. So, it was Nick Fury and Agent Hill in a city setting, maybe New York, I'm not quite sure. And they, also, turned to nothing, but seconds before that, Fury got a pager to call someone. I read a few things online to get ideas on the post-credit scene after watching the film. So, it turns out, Fury was trying to contact Captain Marvel for help. And guess what? Captain Marvel will be the next featured hero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I'm really just hoping that Captain Marvel will be able to help our heroes. And hopefully, bring those that were gone back, alive and awesome.

P.S. I need maybe a week, to get over the horrible ending of Infinity War. I hope that you, too will be able move on as well.

ttps://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/films/news/mcu-timeline-watch-order-marvel-cinematic-universe-film-movie-tv-show-netflix-avengers-black-panther-a8210821.html

Phase One

Captain America: The First Avenger
Agent Carter (seasons one and two)
Agent Carter (one-shot — Iron Man 3 DVD)
Iron Man

The Consultant (one-shot — Thor DVD)
A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Thor’s Hammer (one-shot Captain America: First Avenger DVD)
Thor

Item 47 (one-shot — Avengers DVD)
For phase two, things almost play out in release order, except Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 comes directly after the first Guardians, meaning the movie has been moved into Phase Two, despite being a Phase Three release.

Phase Two
Also of note, one-shots were phased out during Phase Two with the introduction of the Netflix shows and Agents of Shield. For those who do embark on Agents of Shield (the second and third seasons are great), you should definitely watch along with the movies as they have major effects on the show’s story.
Iron Man 3
All Hail the King (one-shot – Thor: The Dark World)
Agents of Shield (season one: episodes 1 — 7)
Thor: The Dark World
Agents of Shield (season one: episodes 8 — 16)

Guardians of the Galaxy
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Agents of Shield (season two: episodes 1 — 19)
Avengers: Age of Ultron
Agents of Shield (season two: episodes 20 — 22)
Ant-Man
Jessica Jones (season one)
Daredevil (season two)
Agents of Shield (season three: episodes 1 — 19)
Made it this far? Well done, you’ve watched a whole lot of Marvel! Phase Three marks some of the best MCU movies so far, but also some timeline bending difficulties. For instance, Doctor Strange begins before Civil War, but finishes after Civil WarSlingshot features lots of flashbacks, and Agents of Shield season five features a lot of obscure time travelling. Also, Black Panther and Spider-Man both take place directly after Civil War, while Ragnarok and Panther directly lead into Avengers: Infinity War.Below’s just a guide for a manageable way of watching based mainly on release order.

Phase Three

Captain America: Civil War
Agents of Shield (season three: episodes 20 — 22)
Luke Cage (season one)
Doctor Strange
Agents of Shield (season four: episodes 1 — 8)
Agents of Shield: Slingshot (web series)
Agents of Shield (season four: episodes 9 — 22)
Iron Fist (season one)
The Defenders (season one)
Spider-Man: Homecoming
Inhumans (season one)
The Punisher (season one)
Runaways (season one)
Black Panther
Jessica Jones (season two)
Agents of Shield (season five, episodes 1 — 14)
Cloak and Dagger (season one)
Thor: Ragnarok
Avengers Infinity War
Congratulations. If you’ve watched all of the above, you’ve processed over nine days worth of Marvel movies and television. Nine days! And there’s still more to come, including: Ant Man and The Wasp, Captain Marvel, an untitled fourth Avengers movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming 2, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Luke Cage season two, Daredevil season three, The Punisher season two, Iron Fist season two,Jessica Jones season three, and New Warriors season one. Phew.

Late night thoughts

Life doesn't have to make sense. I know, it's a bloody, cold fact. But, the thing is, I couldn't really get used to this. You see, we tend to need explanations behind things and circumstances to really grasp the situations and to know what to do. But, no matter how much I try, I sometimes fail to get a good idea on what is really going on quite a number of instances.
