Miss Runway 2013

It was a super fun night, February 19, 2013 We came to support Ms. Leonaleen Orendain for the Miss Runway 2013. We shouted our hearts out when she literally ruled the runway. I mean, she is a pro on the catwalk. We really thought that she was the best of them all. The judges seemed to share that thought and declared her the winner of the first Miss Runway. Congratulations, Madam!!!

P.S. Grabeng shouting, screaming, yelling, ang naganap. LOL!! Pero worth it kay daog jud cya :)

Some Dead and Some Alive - Eco

Okay, I guess you're wondering why I made that as the title of this post. Well, keep wondering. joke :) You're not gonna believe me when I say that we went to a cemetery to tally the year of death and age of 100 dead male and 100 dead female. That was so creepy, to add that we were the only ones there. *chills* Also, we asked for the birth date and age of 100 alive male and 100 alive female. That was really exhausting.     but fun.

P.S. ang Eco na jud.naa pay due na reports..wla na ko kasabot sa akong unahan.

Taboo

This is my super favorite NatGeo Channel Show!!! I really love this program. It'll open your mind to different things in the world, like things you thought, didn't exist in the first place. You'll be amazed how different people are; how we view the world; how we do things; how different our traditions are from each other. We are unique. UNIQUE I say!! You should watch this show with an open mind. :)

Two Episodes every Friday 10 P.M. - 12 A.M. Channel 44  (Digos Cable)

P.S. Daghan kaayo ko ug learnings na nakuha ani na show.

Message: Kindly reveal yourself. I'm not really comfortable having 7 followers when there are only 6 profiles seen on my dashboard. Weird, right?
Why Do I Love This GUY??

Call me delusional, crazy, stupid, but I'm in love with a guy that I know, won't love me back. Okay, I'm a bit OA, but it's true. A big REALITY keeps us from each other. Why do you have to be that far? Why? *sobs T_T But I really hope the best for him. I wish him all the happiness in the world. :)

A Fun Filled Trip

It was one heck of a weekend. We had our field trip for BIO 107:Ecology. GOSH!!! Super KAPOY!!! But, really fun!! I've got to see amazing places, beautiful landscapes and experience the nature. I really had a great time with my classmates, especially my group mates. We may have our differences, but still, we let it set aside to function well as a group to complete the job. Fear

I always feel that I’m not that good enough, that I’m not cut out for the job; that I’m not capable of doing anything that matters. I don’t know why I’m feeling this way. This feeling’s not good, I know. I know that it is wrong to feel like this because we are equal in the eyes of the Lord. I’m not insecure or anything, I simply just don’t believe in myself. You ask why? I also don’t know. I’m still in the midst of confusion; my thoughts are like whirlwinds inside my head. Why do I think this way? I deny myself with enough courage to believe that I can do things. I deny myself to enjoy the feeling of accomplishing something just ‘cause I’m afraid to even try it at the very first place. Maybe, that’s what it is. FEAR. Fear to fail, to be judged, to be looked down upon, to be criticized. I admit, I’m afraid of that. Maybe, that’s the reason I just stay on the side lines. I’m afraid to fail and to disappoint the people who even in the slightest, thought that I can do it. I hope and pray that one day will come and I’ll have that courage to face my fear. I have the LORD Almighty to be with me in this journey, I will do this!

Enjoy to the point of Exhaustion

January 28, 2013 was the opening for Math-Sci Fair. Of course, we had a parade, it was kind of the tradition when opening something. Okay, so the parade part was really exhausting. Exhausting, I tell you. You kinda not wanna be in the parade if your school would be like ours. No need of description. If you have seen us after the said parade, you would know. An opening program followed. They asked trivia questions. Unexpectedly, I was able to answer one. Imagine the shame of having to run from the very back portion of the avr towards the stage. Gosh, I did that. Me, of all people. Well, sometimes, we have to expect the unexpected.

P.S. I got a tumbler for my correct answer.

Paper Towns

Done with Paper Towns by John Green. I just noticed something. It seems that the endings of John Green's books are quite sad, realistic, but sad. This book is funny and full of things, I myself, would like to do. I like how Margo is not afraid to do stuff. I like how she really loves things out of the norm. I like how the way she thinks and analyzes things. I just like her. I'm also fond of Q. I wish something like that would happen to me. Something new and exciting. Out of the norm, maybe life changing. :)

Quotes from the book:

Humans lack good mirrors. It's so hard for anyone to show us how we look, and so hard for us to show anyone how we feel.

On some fundamental level we find it difficult to understand that other people are human beings in the same way that we are. We idealize them as gods or dismiss them as animals.

P.S. Now reading Beautiful Creatures :)
