My CT :)
Thanks for these, sir :) I really appreciate it. (I didn't expect this :):) )
You're very thoughtful. Your words really matter and I'll treasure it forever.
Thanks for everything Sir! I couldn't wish for more.
You were very supportive. You always encourage me to do my best in this craft.
I'll cherish the experience. :)
My PT Experience :)
My practice
teaching experience has been one heck of a ride. Back then, I couldn’t imagine
myself teaching in a real classroom setting, facing a crowd of students,
observant to every move you make, every word you say. I’m not a “crowd” person.
As much as possible, I avoid being looked at or noticed by other people. But my
course pushed me to face these fears of mine. And then came fourth year, second semester,
and the only subject left for me is Ed197: Practice Teaching. I’m assigned to
Fatima National High School, GSC. My cooperating teacher is noted to be very
meticulous when it came to making lesson plans, plus he handles the higher
sections of the school: Third Year Sci Cur (III-Lavoisier), Third Year Star
(III-Antares), Third Year TechVoc (III-Helium), and Fourth Year Sci Cur
(IV-Maxwell). Also, he is an expert in Chemistry and a very effective teacher.
I handled the whole fourth grading period of the aforementioned sections.
I can say that
it isn't an easy task being a teacher. You have to prepare your lessons ahead
of time and study your lessons and have the easiest explanation you can come up
with to make your students understand what you’re talking about. Also, answer
every query they have and have them motivated to participate and be active to your
class discussion. I thought that I couldn't handle everything. But when it came
to our culmination day last, March 12, 2014, the thought and full realization
of it came to me. I SURVIVED! I survived three months of Practice teaching.
Imagine doing three lesson plans for different sections with different types
and levels of learning every night. Imagine making IM’s of three different
kinds for the different classes every day. Imagine dealing with different types
of learners, different types of people, different circumstances inside the
classroom, every day. Teaching is unbelievably tiresome. But, here’s the fun
part. I kinda enjoyed it. You get to meet new people coming from different
walks of life and have various views and opinions. You get to enhance your
social interaction skills as well as, your knowledge in dealing with people
coming from different age groups.

So blessed. I can't believe the rating I got from my critic teacher. I really didn't expect that. Thanks so much, Sir! :) :) :) I'm really happy! Thank you Lord!
It's still a long way to go. Still many obstacles ahead. It's tough but we'll eventually get there. I believe we can make it! Pray and everything will work out just fine. :)

BLESSED
Just watched 50/50 last night. I'm also done reading The Fault In Our Stars last last month. Both of which are about cancer patients. Having cancer is really tough. The cause of it is not well understood. People of different ages, race can develop cancer or are born with it. Having recently read, The Fault In Our Stars, made me realize that I'm really blessed to be healthy. The characters in the book have cancer despite their very young age. Also, Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character in the movie, 50/50, seems young to have the disease. Life is really unpredictable. We may never know what's coming in front of us. Maybe, the next day or two something might get terribly wrong in our lives. We'll just have to stay strong and pray. God's always got our backs. HE's the only that can do miracles. We may never understand life as it is, we'll just have to put our trust in HIM.
2012 was an awesome year and I thank GOD for it. For the year 2012, I thank GOD for keeping my family healthy and safe; for all the blessings HE's given us; for giving me the time and privilege to be with the people I love and care the most, my family and friends, if not for them, I wouldn't be complete; for another year that HE's given me to prove to myself that I can do better; for this chance at life. I may be a sinner but I have a GOD who would die on the cross to save me.
I'm very grateful for this chance to write about this. Last day of 2012... Welcome 2013 with a PRAYER!!!
